I am an early backer of this game solely because of the promise of an atmospheric open world story driven survival game. Up untill recently and the redux versions of wintermute, this did not gel well Let me explain, before the redux versions, the difficulty was brutal, I mean, dying 30 times before managing to get to the main area of the first wintemute chapter. Then, because of bad User Feedback, spending hours chopping wood stashing it in the wrong chest and bam, its all a gift to the NPC in the house. Having no axe to chop anymore wood, barely enough food to sustain myself, I was constanly looking to keep my health bars (thirst,hunger & fatigue) in the green.
