Niles Audio can serve up tunes all over your house, with its newly announced MRC-6430 multi room audio controller. This incredible controller is designed to put six different music sources at your fingertips—in up to six different rooms. The MRC-6430 is powered by the company’s Auriel software (which is leveraged from Elan Home Systems's g! Control platform) and can be accessed using the Auriel app for Apple iOS and Android devices. That software can deliver control, but also puts in the possibility for future expansion into lighting, remote management, Climate control, CCTV cameras,Security, irrigation control and much more by adding on one of the Elan g! Home automation controllers.
Besides the app, the system has other user-friendly control options, including a handheld remote, a seven-button in wall keypad, and a choice of touchpanel devices, as well as Windows and Mac computer control. Once installed, users can listen to any source in any room at any time, even if someone is already listening in another room. The digital amplifier delivers 30 watts to four of the zones, with each area getting its own bass, treble and volume controls in the Auriel interface. The addional two zones can be powered up using any of Niles power amplifiers to suite your application, which could be a Patio which needs a bit more power for those party nights or multiple Niles Garden or rock speakers hidden amongst your plants. Promising an easy setup process by your Niles trained custom installer, the MRC-6430 can be paired with the Niles DBI-2 interface so that the doorbell can even be part of the system.
Larger homes can also opt for two MRC-6430s for a six-source, 12-zone system. The Auriel can also be used to control compatible popular brand Home Theatre receivers, Your DSTV satellite decoder from the same easy to use interfaces or Apps that control the multiroom audio. Music streamers from Sonos connect, Fusion Research or Autonomics can be added to allow you to easily browse music stored on a PC or NAS network harddrive.
They also offer Apple Airplay and streaming services like Spotify,Deezer and TuneIn internet radio. “With Auriel and the MRC-6430, we are making multiroom audio simpler than ever to install and use,” says Yann Connan, director of the audio segment for Core Brands, Niles Audio’s parent company under Nortek (NSDQ: NTK). “The number one concern for buyers is that multiroom audio controllers are complicated, so we developed the Auriel software to show them just how accessible it can be. Hello everyone. First off.I am a newbie, so please excuse the dumb questions. Didn't know whether I should post here or in the Home Automation, but I am sure someone will let me know if I am posting in the wrong forum. I am considering putting together a system mainly to view CCTV and play audio on speakers I already have in my rooms. My house is wired already for a key pad.
I was considering the Elan VIA since I like the touch screens and can watch the CCTV on this pad. I would also include the Elan S12. I consider purchasing the hardware and software from eBay to program the VIA. Is there any thing else I need to build the system with the Elan components I mentioned? Should I consider another system? I am not looking for top-of-the line systems, but I am looking for a system as I mentioned.
