Running this command will force Visual Studio for Mac to log information about all the threads to the IDE log but it will not kill the Visual Studio for Mac process, so it would need to be force quit as before.

Studio

System Software Overview: System Version:macOS 10.12.6 (16G29) Kernel Version:Darwin 16.7.0 Boot Volume:Macintosh HD Boot Mode:Normal Computer Name:Phillip’s Mac Pro User Name:Phillip Curtiss (pcurtiss) Secure Virtual Memory:Enabled System Integrity Protection:Enabled Time since boot:26 days 7:39 Installed VS2017 for the Mac without issue. Iso When attempting to launch the application, it fails to launch - every time. If I launch it from the command line, I get an [Abort trap: 6] on the terminal. Attempting to launch it either by clicking on the App icon, or via the terminal, it generates the same [Problem Details and System Configuration] window, the contents of which I have enclosed below. I can, however, use dotnet at the command line to build, compile, and execute a console app, for example, without issue. Would love to run VS2017 on the Mac.

Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you in advance.
