This headset features surround sound and very comfortable over the ear protection. It is like wearing a cloud on your head. The device is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. It is easy to set up via the USB connection. The headset also features a retractable microphone, which is very easy to operate. The device features clear, and vibrant sound and feels very professional to use. The Razer Kraken headset is so comfortable it can be used for multiple gaming sessions and your ears won't sweat.

I quite like the Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 - USB Gaming Headset with 7.1 Surround Sound (Black). Initially, when I unpacked them I thought they were to huge and heavy, but interestingly once on my head, they didn't feel heavy. There's a nice, soft leather-type cushion surrounding each earpiece and the earpieces fully covered my ears. This was a little eerie to me at first because suddenly I couldn't hear my surroundings anymore and I hadn't even turned on any game or sound yet. The microphone is retractable, so when you're not using the mic you can keep it out of the way by pushing it back in. I've never had a Headset with Surround Sound before, so I was not prepared for the 'loudness' and the extreme clarity of the sound. I tried them out playing one of my Kids games on the PC and had to turn the volume down and then I also heard noises/voices in that game I never knew were there before.
