Timecheck Lotion apparently utilizes the Charged Water technology and to blur lines and wrinkles while shrinking pores and providing long term moisture. Honestly, it’s just a super great moisturizer worth checking out but don’t expect miracles. MAC is all about color and sometimes there skincare collection gets pushed to the sidelines or even isn’t taken very seriously.

This little lotion is a bit expensive at 1 oz in size for $44 but it is a very nice lightweight moisturizer or if you like a face primer for those with normal, oily, or dry skin. It comes housed in a glass pump jar so it’ll stay fresh and stable for the the duration of the product’s life. This is a lightweight gel texture that absorbs easily into the skin with a light delicate fresh floral scent. It contains a good deal of antioxidants as well as shea and mango butter for moisture. I have drier skin and prefer something heavier in the evenings but during the day I like my moisturizer to be light yet super hydrating and that’s exactly why I love Timecheck Lotion. This quite reminds me of my beloved! It absorbs in a snap, doesn’t leave me shiny, greasy, or oil and provides plenty of moisture to my skin so makeup applies smoothly and flawlessly without clinging to drier areas.

MAC Mineralize Timecheck Lotion Swatches It does contain a polymer agent which will make smaller pores appear less visible but I think if you have fine lines or larger pores well, this won’t really help all that much! It isn’t sticky because of this filling agent so no worries about it feeling heavy, sticky, or silicone-y on skin. There is a mix of nice antioxidants in this formula which can be very beneficial to skin but I wouldn’t call it a heavy duty anti-aging solution.

For me, MAC Mineralize Timecheck Lotion acts more as a lightweight moisturizer that preps my skin for makeup and adds a good deal of moisture while retaining that moisture over time so my skin looks fresh and smooth. There was some slight pore filling, but nothing major. My makeup does look good over it, though and it doesn’t make me oily or anything. It’s nice to have something without that silicone feel, so this is good when using a more hydrating foundation and really need it to stick. I find the Invisiblur to be so much better, though. It does have a lot of slip to it, but it makes the skin feel like silk, adds protection, and acts like a primer all in one.
