I actually just installed MacOS 9.2.1 in qemu PPC literally days ago. I couldn't seem to get 9.2.2 booting though, but I think there's an upgrade I can use. Here's my so far. I see a great performance increase after that. After making those changes and also upgrading to 9.2.2. You can do -boot cd and it should boot hard drive if it's installed, otherwise fall back to optical.
