Hi Guys, firstly appreciate this is unsupported config, but I have upgraded my Mac (dev to beta) But Receiver for Mac Version: 12.1.100 (350455) Returns the error 'Initialization Failed' contact Support desk etc. The details: Storefront loads in both browsers via NetScaler and Direct, Receiver also activates locally, and will allow icon placement on the OSX bar. The error happens when you launch the resource, either XenDesktop or XenApp. Has anyone else had this? Worked past it? I have conducted a full uninstall/install - same error.

Mac OS is: version 10.12 beta (16A201w) Also whilst posting, is the OSX Receiver running GPU offload? Just to update on this issue: We've determined that Apple made a change to an API that Receiver was calling when setting up an HDX connection over SSL.

The API in question was changed to always return a failure. It had been marked as deprecated and Apple decided to follow through with that deprecation in Sierra and make it always fail. We had already made changes to the product not use that API any longer so this issue will not be seen in the next public release of Receiver for Mac. At this time, I cannot provide any information on when that version will be released. 'Citrix recommends that our customers not install the Sierra beta.'

I think Citrix can do better than this. Obviously people are not putting OS beta in production. However as consultants and or developers we need to be prepared before macOS Sierra goes GA. 0day support just isn't good enough. We need testing before its released for multiple reasons. Specifically around if Receiver ends up being different from the end users perspective or the backend infrastructure has to change.

I will say this, a main competitors client works in Sierra and was released a few days after the first OS beta. No official support but it does work.
